ABOUT US

Through Good Get, co-founders Erica Getto and Myrriah Gossett are building a podcast slate with a group of talented hosts from the comedy and television worlds. You may know our hosts from projects like The Other Two, Hacks, Dropout, Drag Race, The Moth, and Oh, Mary!

All of our shows center community: they’re about friendship, the creative process, the art of the everyday, caregiving, and beyond. And as a collective, we’re also working to structure Good Get in a community-oriented way, and one that challenges the traditional network model for podcasting.

This year, we’re testing out a new production model where most of our shows will have 12-episode seasons, in a challenge to the “always on” podcasting model that has so often caused burnout for show teams—and listeners. And because one show’s off season will be another show’s on season, Good Get’s listeners will always have something new from us in their queue.

In that spirit, we’ll also continue to offer ad-supported, free listening across podcast platforms, but we’ll be paywalling most full video episodes of our shows. These episodes take more resources to make, and we need support to keep making them! Perhaps most importantly, we’ve spent time as producers and hosts working out a revenue-sharing system that, we hope, is sustainable and fair.

Another big development for 2026 is that we’ve just opened a studio space in New York, and we have one in the works in LA. Our hope is that these spaces can serve Good Get’s hosts and offer a sliding-scale rate for podcasters who want high-quality audio and video for their shows but don’t have the budget for a typical studio rental.

Looking ahead, we’re working towards bringing “member” shows into our collective so that even more shows can partake in this model.

Good Get is proud to work with Tink Media, Impressions.FM, and Weissman Law, and to receive guidance from the Association for Independents in Radio and the Freelance Solidarity Project as the company grows in a way that’s as equitable as it is entertaining.
